10 Fun Celebrity Baby Names

10 Fun Celebrity Baby Names

Have you noticed how celebrities have a way of choosing some crazy unique baby names and even setting some trends for top baby names of the year? This all started back when Gwyneth Paltrow named her baby girl Apple. Not only did it
spark a ton of controversy over such an unusual name, but it also seemed to set
the trends for other celebrity baby names.

Let’s take a look at ten fun celebrity baby names and how these names came
about.

#1 North West: I don’t think any of us will forget when Kim Kardashian and Kanye West announced their daughter’s name as North West. Kim had been asked by numerous publications during her pregnancy if they were going to name their little one North. She repeatedly denied it until announcing the birth of her
daughter. I guess after endless speculation over their daughter’s name, the name
just stuck!

#2 Rumi & Sir: Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s twins named Rumi and Stir sparked a lot of attention when they made their debut. According to the celebrity parents, Rumi is their favorite poet, and Sir was named after he was delivered. They said it was very fitting for his personality.

#3 Lincoln & Delta: Kristin Bell and Dax Shepard named their daughter Lincoln after being convinced she was having a boy. Even after finding out their bundle of joy was indeed a girl, they still felt like the name Lincoln was fitting. They got the name Delta from a friend’s comment about what their second daughter would be like. Despite the fact that it was a joke, the couple thought the name Delta Bell Shepard was very fitting!

#4 Zen: Zoe Saldana and Marco Perego Saldana named their baby Zen. This is
their third boy after having a set of twin boys, Cy and Bowie.

#5 True: Here’s another unique Kardashian baby name. Khloe named her
daughter after her great-grandfather whose first name was True and her
grandfather whose middle name was True.

#6 Cruz: David and Victoria Beckham named their third son Cruz after they met
Tom Cruise and loved the name! They just decided to spell it a little differently.

#7 Stormi: Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott welcomed their baby girl earlier this year and named her Stormi. According to Kylie, she doesn’t really know how they came up with the name Stormi. They thought of the name Storm, but she wasn’t happy with that. Once the name Stormi came to mind, it just stuck!

#8 Bodhi: Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed named their daughter Bodhi despite
the fact that it is often used as a boy’s name. The name Bodhi means
“enlightenment.”

#9 Apple: The name that seemed to start it all, parents Chris Martin and Gwyneth
Paltrow named their daughter Apple after asking one of Martin’s booking agents
if they could use the same name as his daughter. As it turns out, this booking
agent also had a daughter named Apple and gave them permission to use it if
they had a little girl.

#10 Luna: John Legend and Chrissy Teigen named their daughter Luna which
according to them was inspired by a blood moon that occurred right around the
time their daughter was born!

While celebrity baby names can be completely unusual, they can also be really
fun! Would you ever consider naming your baby one of these fun celebrity
names?
